Leaving Port Alberni, we enjoyed noting that the GPS (which had continued to be a tad temperamental despite a data update in Calgary), had us driving in the water beside the road. Ah, technology.
Arriving in Campbell River, we were nicely surprised by another private RV park (Parkside RV Campground). We took thorough advantage of their amenities including laundry, no-charge showers and some great handmade playground equipment.
In Campbell River, we checked out the downtown area and visited their brand-new, disturbingly quiet (like post-apocalyptic quiet) Target store.
