For the last week of August, known as "Birthday Week" in our family, we spent time learning to pull ourselves up to standing, visiting some of my favourite beaches, poking jellyfish, picking/eating blackberries, playing with Playmobil, collecting rocks, playing with kelp and watching seals hunt.
