Having had our nerves a bit shot by the drive to Rainbow Falls, we decided to make the next trip a short one and spend a night in Thunder Bay checking out a couple of spots recommended by our trusty Lonely Planet Guide to Canada.
Finnish pancakes at Hoito (note there is only an "after" photo as the tasty pancakes were inhaled rather quickly) followed by a trip to the recently upgraded waterfront area known as Prince Arthur's Landing helped us recover from a road-overdose. Needing some Walmart provisions, we decided to try a night living the consummate North American RV "boondocking" experience and join some fellow travellers spending the night camped in the parking lot.
You've never lived until you've greeted the morning by brushing your teeth in a Walmart bathroom.
