Wanting to be nice and refreshed before our attempt at crossing the border, we decided to stop at a provincial park halfway down the return trip from Whistler to Vancouver.
Porteau Cove PP turned out to be another surprise highlight of our time in BC with beautiful beachfront camping spots, great rock-hunting and a neat viewpoint. Even the train going by 20 feet from the van, whistle-blaring in the middle of the night didn't ruin our good impression of the place.
