Deciding to test our pleasant surprise with the beauty of Saskatchewan we elected to delay our visit to Saskatoon, make a detour in the direction of Regina and spend a night at Good Spirit. We had it on good authority (McLean's magazine) that Good Spirit has one of the top 10 beaches in Canada.
We arrived in the early afternoon and spend a gorgeous, if windy, day relaxing around the beach. RW and I both commented that this was the first time so far we'd felt like we were on a vacation.
