McDonald PP to Banff NP (AB)

Regretfully leaving our gorgeous campsite in the morning, we took a quick cruise through Nakusp before driving to Galena Bay to catch the ferry over to Shelter Bay.

From Revelstoke, we drove back into the serious mountains and through Rogers Pass - enjoying our first properly rainy day in weeks.

Near the BC-AB border and Kicking Horse Pass, we had the rare luck to see an amazing double rainbow. More amazingly, I even managed to get a picture of it. A good omen for the wedding I'm sure.

We arrived in Banff that evening and managed to find a spot in the massive Tunnel Mountain campground to enjoy a refreshingly-chilly night's sleep.
