Sylvan Lake to Spring Lake RV Resort

For the wedding, we decided to splurge on a fancy RV park near Edmonton boasting water/power hook-ups, a lake, showers, laundry, etc. We got something a bit less fancy and a bit more public health swimmer's itch warnings and frogs in the showers. Nonetheless, we enjoyed having a nice quiet place to park the van between wedding events.

While at Spring Lake, we celebrated L's 6 month birthday in our traditional family way by feeding her some yam as her first solid food. She was about as impressed as her sister had been 3.5 years ago.

The wedding was an amazing 4 days of activities. We had a great time and ate our body-weight in amazing curries. I was also happy to reconnect with a bunch of relatives that I hadn't seen in almost 20 years. The girls (mostly) enjoyed getting dressed-up and showed-off.

Between wedding events we checked out a couple of Edmonton's many, many shopping areas including West Edmonton where we had fun trying to track down a new pair of shoes for RW after the soles of his mint-condition expensive "weddings-and-funeral" shoes decided to completely disintegrate the night of the pre-wedding dance party.
